Crews tackle utility room fire in Westwell near Ashford

Firefighters were called after blaze started in a laundry room this afternoon.
Crews on two engines arrived in Westwell Lane, in Westwell near Ashford, at 2.26pm to find the lean-to utility room on fire.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used a short extension ladder, a main jet and hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
It is not known how much damage was caused to the building.
There were no reported injuries and the cause is believed to be accidental.

Crews left the house after 30 minutes.
