A vehicle tipped over onto its side and blocked roads around the Tank Roundabout in Ashford.

Roads were partially blocked at the roundabout where Chart Road, Templer Way and Carlton Road meet following the accident just after 11am.

The crash happened closest to Carlton Road, police said, adding that no one had been injured.

Witnesses reported seeing a large piece of metal next to the vehicle, which had apparently fallen out of it, and scratch marks were visible on the road's surface.

Kent Highways initially advised drivers to use alternative routes and expect delays before announcing the road had reopened a short while ago.
