Hair-raising footage has emerged of a lorry driver using a busy roundabout in the wrong direction.

The video shows the HGV driver travelling in the path of oncoming traffic around the Trinity Road roundabout in Ashford.

The footage has been viewed on Facebook more than 47,000 times.

Commenting on the video, Shanni McDonald said: "You missed the worst bit of him reversing around the roundabout the wrong way."

The incident - which was caught on camera close to the Eureka Leisure Park - reportedly happened at about 6.45pm last Thursday.

Police did not receive any calls about the incident.
