Woman rescued after car flips on M20 near Ashford and Canterbury

A woman has been rescued from her car after it flipped whilst on the M20.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) were called to the single vehicle crash on the M20 coastbound, between junctions 10 for Ashford and 11 for Canterbury at around 9.30am.

The vehicle was on its roof in a ditch off of the motorway, with one person stuck inside.

The emergency services rescued her from the vehicle and she was passed into the care of ambulance crews.

The scene was made safe and emergency services left just after 10am.
