A report that a woman was raped by a man in a town centre is being investigated by police.

The attack happened in a public car park opposite bus stops in Park Street, Ashford, between 5.50pm and 6.35pm yesterday.

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened, or has private CCTV or dashcam footage recorded in the area at that time.
