Woman with pushchair may have witnessed assault

KENT Police are keen to trace a woman who came to the assistance of a 26-year-old man attacked by thugs in Beaver Road, Ashford.

The victim was cycling along the road on December 21 between 2.50pm and 3.20pm when he was approached two youths. He was pushed from his bike and then punched.

He sustained minor injuries to his head and legs before the two youths walked away. Shortly afterwards a woman with a pushchair offered assistance to the injured man.

PC Eddie Evans said: “We would like to speak to this woman as she may hold information which will assist this enquiry."
