A driver was caught by police after 'for sale' posters plastered on his vehicle's windows posed "a massive risk".

The force's Roads Policing Unit stopped the car in Ashford due to the motorist's view being obscured.

The printed out signs advertising the 2015 Peugeot for £4,950 was taped to the side window and windscreen of the car.

A tweet from police said today: "The Roads Policing Unit stopped this vehicle in Ashford.

"The driver's view was obscured, meaning they would not be able to see pedestrians, cars and bikes, clearly posing a massive risk to other road users!"

Police have been contacted for further information about the incident.
