POLICE are investigating an incident in which a girl of seven is believed to have been accosted by a man.

The incident is said to have happened soon after 4pm opn Monday in Stanhope Square, Ashford. It is understood the girl was unharmed.

Officers say they want to speak to one man in connection with the incident, described as black or mixed race and with a slim build. He was said to be wearing sunglasses, a grey hat, black jacket and black trousers or jeans.
