A suspected London drug dealer has been arrested in Ashford.

Officers approached a parked car in Alfred Road at 2pm yesterday as they believed drugs were being sold inside.

They arrested a 27-year-old man from Lewisham on suspicion of possession with intent to supply heroin, a significant quantity of which was seized from the vehicle.

He remains in custody.
