Two men have been arrested after cannabis plants were found drying on coathangers inside a property.
Police also seized suspected heroin and crack cocaine near Ashford town centre yesterday (Monday).
Officers were in the Jemmett Road area when they became aware of a man behaving suspiciously, who was seen to get into a car with a second man.
After observing the men, they were both detained after a search led to the recovery of suspected Class A drugs and multiple mobile phones.
A police spokesman said: “Initial inquiries carried out by officers led to a further search of a nearby property, from which a large quantity of wraps were seized and drying cannabis plants.
“The men were arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply and were later bailed pending further inquiries.”
