A pair of well known characters have appeared outside a garage.
Mechanics at Bob Fisher’s Garage, on the A20 Ashford Road, in Sellindge, created the Minions out of tyres and a bin.
Mr Fisher said the characters from film Despicable Me were built by workshop apprentice James Marsh and MOT tester Charlie Thomas, both 20.
He said: "James is absolutely mad on Minions so for a laugh I bought a shirt off eBay with a Minion on it.
"Then we all had a look on the Internet for other Minion stuff and saw people had made them out of tyres.
"I thought it would be nice to have them out the front so the boys from the workshop started it.
"The first one took them nearly a day, but now they seem to be multiplying!”
Mr Fisher and the team posted pictures of the distinctive yellow henchman to the garage’s Facebook page.
The comic characters quickly received nearly 300 likes.
Mr Fisher added: "I did a job on a classic jag a bit before and put the pictures of it on my Facebook page, and it got much less hits than the Minions. I can’t believe both minions got double the amount of likes as the jag!"
He jokingly added: "I was thinking about giving the staff the shirts to wear as a uniform.
"It’s just all quite good fun. It gives people a reason to pull over and we have to have a bit of fun now and then, don’t we."
Bob Fisher’s Garage is a family run business that has been running in Sellindge for 25 years.
They carry out most car work and Mr Fisher said, that included tyres.
He said: "It just seemed fitting - a tyre Minion for a business that deals with tyres. It could be a continuing thing, maybe we’ll do Toy Story next!"
