The first-ever sausage and cider festival is coming to Ashford next month.
Organisers are preparing to host the inaugural festival in Victoria Park on Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16.
Visitors will be able to taste an array of street foods, enjoy live music performances and sample a diverse range of sausages at the ticketed event.
As well as the option to try a range of sausages including Kent farmhouse, polish sausages and vegetarian hot dogs - visitors can test locally produced cider from Kent brewers Turners, Wise Owl and Luke’s Cider.
A programme packed full of live music is scheduled to run over the weekend, including performances from Wrong Jovi and Abba Stars UK.
Family-friendly activities including fairground rides and face painting will run alongside the main festival to keep younger guests entertained, as well as stalls containing homemade groceries, hand-crafted furniture and cheeses.
The event is set to run from 10am to 9pm on Saturday and 11am to 7pm on Sunday.
Free parking will be available for designated drivers in adjacent Watercress Fields.
Paul Kennedy from Zoom Events, the company which is hosting the festival, said: "We are delighted to be hosting the Ashford Sausage & Cider Festival, bringing our brand of family friendly entertainment to Ashford for the first time.
"A great line up of music has been confirmed including two great tribute acts and a host of other talented musicians across a range of genre."
The cost of a one-day adult ticket is currently £8 with cheaper options available for children and concessions. Tickets are free for children under the age of 12.
