The Rev Tyte, who was a professional beatboxer before he was ordained seven years ago, will perform at the farmer’s market opposite the church and will hold beatboxing workshops throughout the day,

He trained at the same theological college as parish vicar Rev Ravi Holy.

Visitors to the open day, between 10am and 2pm, will also be able to climb the church tower, have a go at bell ringing and ask the vicar questions.

Children will have the opportunity to dress up as mini vicars and there will be surprise appearance from the patron saint, St Gregory.
