A man is in critical condition in hospital after a crash involving a car and a motorbike
The biker, aged in his 70s was hurt while riding his black BMW R1250 motorcycle on the A2070 in Snave near Romney Marsh yesterday evening.
The bike was involved in a collision with a Jaguar XF car and the rider suffered serious injuries following the crash shortly after 5pm.
He was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a critical condition, a police spokesman said.
The main road was blocked for several hours, reopening at about 1am, following the incident.
A 52-year-old man from the Romney Marsh area was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and taken to custody.
He has now been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Officers are investigating the incident and have asked anyone who saw the crash or have any prior knowledge to come forward.
