Police are hoping witnesses will come forward after a crash which left a motorbike rider seriously injured.
The 47-year-old was taken to King's College Hospital in London by air ambulance on Saturday, after a crash with a red Nissan Note car.
The air ambulance landed in St Stephens playing fields in South Ashford (pictured above), where paramedics transferred to a waiting vehicle.
The car driver was unhurt in the crash at around 3.50pm near the junction of Stanhope Road and Luddenham Road in Ashford.
Police particularly want to speak to anyone who saw the vehicles before the accident. Witnesses should contact PC Suzy Pickett at Kent Police on 101, giving reference O3-1122.
The motorbike rider's said to be in a serious but stable condition.
