An investigation has been launched after a man’s body was found in a flat.

The 35-year-old was found dead at Hampden Road, Ashford, at about 8pm on Monday .

Police were seen afterwards calling on homes in the area to make inquiries, but say they are not at this stage treating the incident as suspicious.

An inquest is due to be opened today (Thursday) at Ashford Magistrates’ Court.
