Police discovered body of a pensioner after 'disturbance' in Muscovy Road Kennington

Police discovered the body of a pensioner after they were called to a disturbance last night.

A man in his 70s was pronounced dead at the scene, at a private address in Muscovy Road, Kennington.

Witnesses report seeing eight police cars, a forensics van and two ambulances at the scene at 8.11pm.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called to a report of a disturbance at an address in Muscovy Road, Ashford, at 8.11pm on Thursday 9 April.

"Officers attended and discovered the body of a man in his 70s. The death is not being treated as suspicious."

A spokesman for SECAmb confirmed ambulance crews also attended the scene.
