Police have released a CCTV image of a man wanted in connection with a robbery at Coral bookmakers in Trinity Road, Ashford last week.

The bookmakers was robbed by the masked man on Friday morning (February 5) at about 11.40am.

Police were called to Trinity Road in Eureka Park after the man, clad in a balaclava and sunglasses, entered the bookies and demanded cash.

He threatened a woman behind the counter but was not armed. He then fled the scene with cash inside a Tesco bag.

The man is described as being six foot tall, slim and wearing a green jacket with a local accent.
