A new bridal shop is set to open in the town centre on Friday.
WED2B is getting ready to open its first branch in Kent in a unit in Park Mall in Ashford.
It is moving into the former Sense charity shop which was 'forced' to close in April after four years.
The bridal shop, which was started in 2009 and now has 35 stores, sells hundreds of gowns in different designs and for under £699, excluding the Platinum Edition.
It also sells a range of bridesmaids’ dresses, bridal accessories and has plenty of space for bridal party fittings, with spacious changing rooms.
Brides-to-be can visit at any time without an appointment and all dresses are off-the-peg, so brides can take their dress home with them on the same day.
Todd Cassidy, founder and CEO of WED2B, said: “We are very excited to be opening our store in Ashford. Brides-to-be can drop in whenever they like, take their time browsing our designer collections, and try as many dresses as they like before choosing and taking home their perfect gown that very same day.”
A spokesperson added: "Ashford was a prime location for us as it complements our existing bridal store network across the UK. With great transport links, brides-to-be from all over Kent and the South East are now within easy reach of our bridal store."
The store will be employing ten staff and is officially set to open at 10am on Friday, with the Mayor of Ashford set to attend.
