An Ashford grandfather says he is fed up with cars parked at a bus stop on Faversham Road making it extremely difficult for him to board the bus.
Edward Hadaway, 81, says he could soon be in an electric wheelchair, making it impossible to do his twice-weekly trips on the bus to the town centre because parked cars force buses to stop in the middle of the road.
The bus stop by Kennington Tandoori is regularly filled with parked cars or vehicles for sale.
The grandfather-of-four said: “You get these cars parking at the bus stop or there’s some for sale and they’re permanently there so when the bus turns up it has to stop on the road meaning you have to walk out to get it.
“I’m not in a wheelchair yet but for those that are have to come off the pavement, on to the road and go out to meet the bus."

Ashford council says it can only take enforcement action if the vehicles are parked in contravention of parking regulations.
