Two people have been taken to hospital after being injured in a car accident.

The single-vehicle collision happened at around 11am on the A2070 near the Brenzett roundabout.

The car is now being recovered.

A spokeswoman said: "Kent Police received a report of a single-vehicle collision at 11.05am.

"Officers are attending the scene on the A2070 near the roundabout with Brenzett.

"Injuries have been reported and two people have been taken to a local hospital.

"Work is ongoing to recover the car."
