A driver has been reported after being caught driving the wrong way down a motorway.
The motorist was spotted by terrified eyewitnesses travelling towards them on the M20 carriageway near Ashford.
Police were called to the London-bound carriageway between Junction 10 to Junction 9 after drivers reported a red car driving the wrong way just after 10am.
Officers attended and managed to locate the vehicle, ensuring it was safely out of harms way before speaking to the driver.
A police spokeswoman said: "Officers have spoken to the driver who has been reported for a traffic offence."
Amazingly, this is not the first time that an incident of wrong-way driving has occurred on the motorway in the last month.
A reckless biker was caught on camera driving the wrong way near Maidstone in May.
They were captured speeding down the hard shoulder of the coastbound carriageway, while heading towards London, between Junction 8 and 7.
Driver Chris Wilkins spotted the shocking spectacle while travelling towards London himself, with his passenger recording footage of the incident.
A similar incident also occurred in West Kent in October of last year, when a BMW was driven on the wrong side of the M25 and A21 for 16 miles before being stopped by police.
