A woman suffered only minor injuries after she crashed her car into the central reservation on the M20, last night.

Emergency services were called to the incident on the London bound carriageway, between junctions 9 and 8, just before midnight.

Police press officer Andy Saunders said: “A car was reported to have collided with the central reservation. The female driver suffered minor injuries.”

Firefighters from Ashford said the woman was already out of her car when they arrived.

They stayed at the scene to make it safe.
