Firefighters were called after a Fiat Punto was found alight in the early hours of the morning.

A crew attended the scene in Beaver Lane, Ashford, at 1.30am, where they remained for an hour. The blue Fiat Punto was completely destroyed in the blaze.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police were called at 1.30am on Saturday, March 26, to Beaver Lane, Ashford, following reports of a car alight. The fire is currently being treated as suspicious and inquiries are ongoing."
