Traffic is being held both ways on a motorway after a crash.

The incident caused a vehicle to catch on the M20 coastbound between Maidstone Services at junction 8 and junction 9 for Ashford.

A car is thought to have crashed into the central reservation and caught light.

National Highways estimate there will be delays for at least an hour until about 3.45pm.

Police and fire have been contacted for more information.
