Police have released CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to in connection with an armed robbery at an Ashford bookmakers a fortnight ago.
At 7.15pm on Tuesday, June 30, a man walked in to William Hill Bookmakers, Court Wurtin, Beaver Lane, armed with a kitchen knife and jumped on the counter demanding money.
The man is described as about 25-years-old, white, possibly of Eastern European appearance, almost 6ft and of medium build with short cropped brown hair. He was wearing a polo shirt with horizontal stripes with a distinctive Native American Indian head dress on the back.
Det Con Pete Edwards said: "We would like to speak to anyone who recognises this man, particularly his distinctive T shirt.
"We believe he has access to a small car and someone may have seen him parking before or driving away after the incident."
