Celebrities were on the run in parts of Kent featuring in the finale of popular TV show.
Stars in the Channel 4 show Celebrity Hunted were filming around Ashford in a bid to get to their final destination and complete the challenge.
On the show, which is in aide of Stand up to Cancer, celebrities are fugitives on the run from a team of hunters and have to get to the extraction point where they leave the UK.
In last night’s episode, it was revealed this point was Headcorn Aerodrome which sits between Ashford and Tenterden.
The last remaining celebrities included Saffron Barker, Bobby Seagull, Nik Speakman and Eva Speakman – but only one made it to Headcorn.
The first celebs to get to Kent were Saffron and Bobby who had previously gone solo after working together for most of the challenge.
Bobby was dropped off in the outskirts of Ashford where he found a place to lay low until making his way to Headcorn.
Saffron was eventually tracked down in Wye after the hunters managed to track her approximate location.
They visited Eastwell Manor but she was nowhere to be seen.
After speaking to a member of staff at the venue, who said she had seen her on her way into work in Wye near The Tickled Trout, the hunters quickly made their way to the village.
They questioned staff at The Tickled Trout who had not seen her, but not long after stepping back out into the village, hunters spotted Saffron and chased her down.
Nik and Eva Speakman were tracked down not long after on the M25 while on their way to Maidstone.
After their taxi left the motorway and dropped them off they attempted to make a run for it but were caught.
When speaking with the hunters after being captured, Eva let slip that she would have loved to “get on the plane” making hunters think the extraction point was an airfield.
After some research, the professionals concluded the last man standing, Bobby Seagull, was on his way to Headcorn Aerodrome.
They quickly made their way to the airfield and spotted Bobby making a run for it towards the plane that was set to collect him. After an intense chase, the hunters surrounded Bobby when he was in touching distance of completing the challenge.
Ten celebrities started the series and attempted to stay off the radar and remain at large for two weeks as a new crack team of hunters tried to hunt them down.
Former police officers, intelligence, and army personnel were tracking them down as they traveled all over the country.
All the celebrities in this year’s series included comedians and hosts of the Off Menu Podcast, Ed Gamble and James Acaster, Strictly Come Dancing star Katya Jones, TV presenter and former Olympic snowboarder Aimee Fuller, life-change experts Nik and Eva Speakman, social media and Strictly Come Dancing star Saffron Barker, TV mathematician Bobby Seagull, broadcaster and Coronation Street actress Nicola Thorp, and Starstruck and The Devil’s Hour actor, Nikesh Patel.
