A chimney fire has led firefighters to warn residents about ensuring their chimneys are kept clear following a fire at a home.
Firefighters were called to a property in Abbots Walk, Wye late last night to a chimney alight.
No casualties were reported but crews attended to put out the fire, which is believed to have started accidentally at 11.55pm.
Two fire engines were at the scene for about two hours until just before 2am.
As the country heads into the winter months, firefighters have now issued advice about keeping their chimneys and homes safe.
A fire service spokesman said: "Following the incident, firefighters are reminding people to always ensure open fires and wood burners are swept regularly to keep them in good working order."
