A soap star was seen doing a spot of Christmas shopping in Ashford town centre this week.

Coronation Street actress Beverley Callard stopped to pose for this snap in Ashford’s County Square on Tuesday.

Photographer Andy Clark bumped into the actress, better known as her long-standing on-screen alter ego Liz McDonald, at about 2.40pm.

Her character’s unique and flamboyant dress sense was, thankfully, nowhere to be
seen.
