A coffee shop inside a supermarket is set to be replaced by Costa after closing suddenly.
Harris and Hoole opened in Tesco Extra Crooksfoot in Ashford in 2014 after the store’s own cafe closed.
But the site shut its doors for the final time last month.
Announcing the news on social media, the management team at the Ashford store said: “Unfortunately due to circumstances out of our control, we will be closing earlier than expected.
“Thank you to everyone for an amazing experience over the years, you won’t be forgotten.”
A Costa coffee spokesman said: “We can confirm that a new Costa Coffee store will open in Crooksfoot’s Tesco Extra supermarket, Ashford, later this year.
“We look forward to welcoming customers into our new store.”
While an exact opening date is yet to be confirmed for the store in Hythe Road, Ashford’s other Tesco in Park Farm already has the coffee outlet.
Harris and Hoole has been approached for further comment.
