A crash involving two vehicles on a main road is causing tailbacks this morning, Kent Highways has said.
The incident, which happened at about 8.40am on Headcorn Road near the Smarden Road junction in Biddenden, ignited an emergency response.
A Highways spokesman advised drivers to approach with caution and use alternative routes if possible.
A police spokesman said the road will remain closed while the vehicles are recovered and paramedics are treating casualties at the scene.
"Two vehicles were involved in a collision on Headcorn Road, Biddenden at 8.37am on Sunday 8 July. SECAmb is at the scene dealing with casualties and the road will be closed while the vehicles are recovered," he said.
