An investigation is underway after fire broke out at a house in Willesborough.
Two fire engines were sent to Canterbury Road just before 3pm.
They arrived to find smoke coming from the mid-terraced property.
A fire service spokesman said: "Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet and positive pressure ventilation fan to tackle the fire.
"There were no reports of any casualties."
Crews remained at the scene for more than two and a half hours.
