Firefighters have rescued a man from a car that became stuck in deep flood water.

Crews were called to Church Lane, Aldington at just after 3pm today.

Firefighters in dry suits joined SECAmb's Hazardous Area Response Team in the rescue.

The man was rescued from the car via a HART inflatable boat and passed into the care of ambulance crews.
