Cyclist taken to hospital after colliding with car in Hythe Road, Ashford

A cyclist has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car.

The incident happened at about midday in Hythe Road in Ashford close to the junction with Hunter Road.

Emergency services were called and the road was shut until 1pm.

The cyclist suffered a leg injury.
