Motorway traffic was brought to a standstill this morning after a car and a lorry collided near junction 11 of the M20, close to the entrance to the Channel Tunnel.

Police were called to the scene just before 8am and have closed all coastbound lanes to allow time to clear both vehicles and the debris.

No-one has been reported as injured.

Officers are still at the scene and it is not known when the road will be re-opened.
