A faulty set of traffic lights at the junction 10 roundabout is causing long delays on the M20 coastbound as well as several roads in Ashford.

Traffic is reportedly building up towards junction 9, as well as on the A2070 leading up to the roundabout.

KCC Highways have confirmed that they are aware of the issue, and that Highways England are dealing with the issue.

Until the matter is resolved motorists are being advised to approach the area with caution and allow additional time for their commutes.

This is not the first time that these lights have failed this year, after they created 50 minute delays for commuters in February.
