There are delays on the M20 Westbound due to an accident involving one car.

One lane was blocked but all lanes have since re-opened.

The incident happened between the J9 A20 Fougeres Way (Ashford/Faversham) to J8 (Leeds Castle / Maidstone Services).

A police spokesman said: "Police were called at 12.34pm following a report that a car had struck the barrier on the westbound carriageway of the M20 between junctions 9 and 8.

"Officers are at the scene where no injuries have been reported."
