Deliveroo has delayed its plans to launch its popular food delivery service in part of the county.
The company had planned to begin operating in Ashford at the end of August.
It has not confirmed when it will pursue its plans to launch in the town, or why it has cancelled the summer opening.
The on-demand service already operates in Canterbury, Sevenoaks, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells.
It allows customers to order food from restaurants using the Deliveroo website or app and get it delivered to their front door.
It comes as rival Uber Eats has revealed it is launching its service in Medway from today.
Applications for riders remain open, as the company is searching for bicycle, scooter or motorbike riders to deliver the food across Ashford.
It is not known when the service will go live as an official date has not yet been confirmed.
A spokesman from Deliveroo said: "Our roll-out plans changed slightly and we are firming up an additional launch date."
