Design a new kit for Ashford United Football Club and you could win an iPad Mini - plus £500 in cash!

The club is inviting schools, youth groups and Kentish Exprss readers to help design their new look for next season.

The competition is open to two age categories - 7-16 years and 17 years and upwards - and either category can win the first prize.

The winning design will also carry the name of the designer, school or youth group on the label inside the shirt.

There is a runners-up prize of two tickets to see One Direction, as well as a family season tickets for Ashford FC!

The competition will be judged by representatives from Ashford United FC, Kentish Express, along with an independent judge.

A template for the design is contained in the PDF document on the link below.

Just complete your design and write your name, age and address on the reverse of the template.

Please also read the guidelines before completing.

Send your completed template to Fiona Maddison at Medway House, Ginsbury Close, Thomas Longley Road, Medway City Estate, Strood, Rochester ME2 4DU, marked Ashford United FC on the envelope. The deadline for receipt of entries is May 8, 2015.
