Do you recognise road rage attacker?

Police have released an e-fit in a fresh attempt to find a road rage attacker.

Officers want to speak to a man resembling the image above, in connection with an incident in Ashford in which two people were injured.

It happened on the A2070 Kingsnorth as the victims, two men, travelled towards New Romney.

Shortly after they had passed the Ashford roundabout the driver saw a black or silver coloured Volkswagen Golf behind him that was flashing its lights.

He pulled over and the other car stopped behind him.

Both drivers got out and the VW driver began shouting and then punched the other man, causing swelling to his face.

South Kent Police spokesman Rosy Alexander said: “While this was happening it is believed that the passenger was attacked by a person or persons also travelling in the VW.

“He sustained serious cuts and bruising to his head, face and body, which required hospital treatment.”

The incident took place on Saturday, June 28 between midnight and 1.12am.

The driver of the VW is described as white, 6ft tall and with a slim build and short black hair. He was wearing a top that was possibly grey in colour.

The other occupants in the car are described as a blonde girl sitting in the back seat and a white man with blond, cropped spiky hair. It is not known if he was sitting in the front or back of the car.

Anyone with information about this incident should contact South Kent Police on 01303 289180 or call the Crimestoppers Hotling on 0800 555111.
