The entrance to County Square shopping centre in Ashford, which closed when the roof fell in during Storm Eunice, has finally reopened almost a week later.
Debris and smashed glass coated the floor by the doors in Tufton Street near Wimpy and the former Post Office during high winds on Friday.
Barbers ManCave, and takeaway On Pizza, had to close while repairs were made.
Now a section of the roof has been boarded up and the shops have reopened for the first time in six days.
In a statement on Facebook ManCave, an independent barbers, said: "We are ready and will be back open at 9am.
"We would like to thank you for your support and would ask you guys to give this a little share so people know we are trading again.
"If you would like to book appointments feel free to ring the shop.
"Again thank you for your support."
While access was closed off, shoppers were being directed to other entrances in the high street and Godinton Road which were able to stay open.
Omid Rezaei, associate partner at County Square, said: "With safety being the number one priority the centre was shut down but with the amazing efforts of our on site management, operations and customer services teams, we were able to reopen most of the centre by the next day.
"Given the significant damage to homes, properties, trees and roads that have been seen across the region, we are very grateful there were no injuries.
"The on site team have been amazing in acting expediently and working tirelessly throughout to ensure the safety of the public and affected tenants and customers.
"We are of course trying to deal with the remaining repairs in tandem with insurers.
"In under a week since the incident, the centre is thankfully fully operational and we look forward to welcoming back our loyal customers and visitors."
