A car has been totalled after crashing into bollards in a town centre.
Bank Street was partially blocked as emergency services dealt with the crashed VW 4x4 in Ashford.
The vehicle appears to have smashed into the bollards that run either side of the one-way road by the Bright City Church and Aspendos.
The front right side of the vehicle has been completely ruined, with broken glass scattered across the road.
Much of the inner workings of the car can be seen, while the driver-side door has been crippled but pushed open.
One wheel has been torn free of the rest of the car and landed several feet away, on the pavement.
Police and ambulance were on scene, while Stagecoach tweeted that bus services were unable to access the road.
A Bank Street resident said: "I did not see it happen but I came downstairs in the aftermath.
"I have no idea how it happened. The path was slippery but the road did not seem too iced up."
The road was cleared just after 9pm.
There are not thought to have been any serious injuries in the collision, which is one of a number of crashes to happen in the area this evening.
Police were called to rescue a truck that left the road on a country lane due to icy conditions in Bislington, south of Ashford.
At the same time, there were also reports of a two-car carsh partially blocking Stone Cross Road near Swanton Lane, less than five minutes drive north.
Kent Police Ashford tweeted: "Patrols from Ashford CSU are currently attending this lorry, which has lost control in the icy conditions and left the road in Bilsington near Ashford.
"We are now getting reports of further incidents in the area due to the icy conditions.
"We like to reiterate the need for extra caution in the current conditions, and advise drivers to restrict themselves to essential journeys only."
Police and ambulance services have been asked for more details.
