Footage shows the moment a car exploded after reportedly being torched in a suspected arson attack in the early hours of the morning.
The vehicle was engulfed in flames in Willesborough, Ashford at about 1.30am.
Two fire engines were called to the scene.
A nearby resident captured footage of crews battling the flames, which were creating huge plumes of smoke.
It is believed the car caught alight after an unknown person threw something at it.
A police spokesman confirmed officers are investigating and appealing for witnesses.
The vehicle has now been removed from the driveway of the house in Adams Drive and officers have launched an appeal.
The video shows firefighters tackling the burning car before part of the vehicle explodes, leading to shouts for people nearby to back away.
A spokesman for the fire service confirmed crews were called at 1.34am to reports of a car alight in Adams Drive.
Two fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
No injuries were reported and the flames were put out by 2.06am.
A burnt patch of ground can be seen on the driveway outside the property.
Officers are investigating the incident as arson and inquiries are ongoing.
