A driver has been flown to hospital with serious injuries following a two-car crash in Charing.

It left Charing Hill, between Bowl Road and Canterbury Road, closed in both directions for several hours.

Firefighters helped to remove two casualties following the crash just after 3pm.

One was taken to hospital by air ambulance and the other via road.

Another casualty was looked after by paramedics at the scene.
