A driver on their way to church on New Year’s Eve was pulled over after officers found their car was uninsured.
The vehicle was stopped and later seized in Great Chart, in Ashford, on Sunday evening by the team from the Community Safety Unit.
The driver had no insurance and in addition, a child in the Ford Focus was not wearing a seatbelt.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Kent Police Ashford said: “Driving to church on New Year’s Eve, no insurance and young child not wearing a seat belt.
“Not a great way to end 2023.”
Police confirmed the car was seized.
