Two men and teenager arrested after suspected cocaine found in car in Faversham Road, Ashford

Police descended on a busy route following a report of “suspicious activity”.

Officers searched a car and found suspected cocaine.

Two men and a teenager were arrested and remain in custody.

A police spokesman said: “We were called to a report of suspicious activity in Faversham Road, Ashford at 5.45pm yesterday.

“Officers attended and, as part of their inquiries, searched a car which was parked nearby.

“Suspected class A drugs were found and seized and three men, aged 27, 24 and 18, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in drug supply.

“The three men remain in custody and inquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
