A woman reported to have kicked an officer twice while being arrested has been charged with being drunk and disorderly.

British Transport Police were called to meet the train the woman was travelling on at Ashford International Station.

On Thursday @BTPKent tweeted that the woman had been abusive to officers and kicked the arresting officer twice during the arrest the night before.

This morning, it was confirmed she has been charged with with being drunk and disorderly and will appear in court in due course.
