A sound installation composed by the weather is being brought to Dungeness by two London artists.

Atmospheric music will blow across the shingle for 24 hours later this month, varying minute by minute with the meteorological conditions.

Audio: music for when it's chilly, windy and changeable

“Obviously we’re hoping it’s not going to be completely dissonant, but who can say? I mean, it’s really determined by the weather.”

The sound installation, Variable 4, will operate from noon on Saturday May 22, 120 metres from the RNLI Dungeness Lifeboat House.
