All aboard the love train... but not from Kent.
The high speed international train service provider Eurostar has announced on Twitter this week that it will be hosting a one off dating service on one of its locos in the new year.
A spokesman for the service confirmed that while they are looking for singletons from all over the country, including Kent, the train to Paris will be a direct service from London St Pancras.
Many Eurostar trains run daily stopping services to the continent from Ebbsfleet International near Bluewater and Ashford International.
The trip to the city of love will also be filmed for the company.
Eurostar posted on Twitter this week saying: "Looking for love?
"We’ll be filming a one-off day of high-speed dating between London and Paris on the 18th January 2019.
"Both straight and LGBTQ daters welcome.
"Interested? Send us a DM (direct message) to find out more."
A Eurostar spokesman added: "A Eurostar journey to the world’s most romantic city provides the perfect setting for the chance to meet someone special.
"We’ll be hosting a one-off dating event in January and are inviting interested daters to message us on Twitter at @EurostarUK.
"It’s not planned to be a Kent-stopping service but of course anyone is welcome and it’s a quick journey from Kent to join the train at St Pancras."
Ashford International to St Pancras International takes 37 minutes on the high speed service when travelling domestically.
