Around £5,000 worth of damage has been caused to exercise equipment after a fire ripped through it last night.

The blaze is reported to have broken out at about 9pm in the field next to Kingsnorth Sports Pavilion in Church Hill, Kingsnorth.

After reviewing the CCTV of the premises, police are now asking witnesses with information to come forward.
